It’s a tight squeeze in the engine bay.

The E30 BMW M3 is a legendary automobile. It successfully combined power and handling to create the ideal driver's vehicle, solidifying itself as the sports car of an age. With one of its most recent creations, Renner combines the historic E30 with the powerful S85 V10 engine from a 2008 E60 BMW M5, which barely fits in the M3. Renner takes these classics and gives them a contemporary touch. This year's SEMA Show served as its debut.

With 625 horsepower (466 kilowatts), the S85 V10 produces roughly four times as much power as the original M3, and more power may be added in the future. The 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V10 was tweaked by Renner to provide more power than stock, but that wasn't the only change done to the car.

The aftermarket specialist modified the suspension and strengthened the chassis in addition. The significantly larger engine, a four-cylinder mill that BMW supplied with the E30 M3, came with a lot of extra weight that Renner engineers had to manage. It has redesigned sway bar and coilovers. The tuner places a high priority on safety and usability, saying that every build would be completely functioning with power steering, air conditioning, and other features.

The large engine barely fits, yet there is still space in the bay for the air conditioner. Near the sub-frame, a tiny compressor, perhaps from Acura, will fit, and there will be plenty of room for the condenser up front.

Many of the modifications Renner made to the car are hidden by the exterior, which is stock and from the OEM. The M3 appears stock from first view, and this is also true from inside the car. The vehicle has updated sound system and instrument gauges with the correct rev limit, but none of the contemporary technology is overtly visible. On the outside, Yokohama tires wrap around custom-painted 18-inch aero disc wheels.

Renner estimated that the construction would cost roughly R6.5 million. Although the tuner provides more affordable selections, the customer ultimately decides what they want to build. Many people believed that the E30 M3 was flawless, exactly as BMW intended it to be, but Renner and other creative minds continually demonstrate that there is always room to tinker and create cool things.
