It’s very, very blue

Ever dreamed of basking in the sun-kissed beauty of Sardinia without leaving your driveway? Lamborghini’s got you covered with this stunning one-off Revuelto, a tribute to the picturesque island, embodying its vibrant hues and serene vibes.

Dubbed the ‘Opera Unica’ (meaning ‘unique work’), this bespoke creation comes from Lamborghini’s Ad Personam division, which lavished 475 hours of meticulous hand-painting to bring it to life. Imagine an Art Attack episode on steroids, and you’re halfway there.

The process began with masking and taping up the original Revuelto, followed by the application of two- and three-tone fading paint using precise brush strokes. The goal? To capture the essence of “waves hitting the cliffs” as closely as possible. It’s an ambitious artistic endeavor that pays homage to the island’s stunning coastal beauty.

Step inside, and the blue/black theme continues, with bespoke touches gracing elements like the start/stop button and the seat headrests. While there are no sandy textures here, it feels less like lounging on the beach and more like being adrift a mile off Sardinia’s coast.

Underneath this aquatic-themed masterpiece lies the beastly hybrid V12 engine, churning out a colossal 746kW. That translates to a blistering 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h—roughly equivalent to 189 knots if you’re thinking nautically.

Fancy one? Unfortunately, this oceanic marvel is a one-off. However, if you have deep enough pockets and a penchant for bespoke automotive artistry, Lamborghini’s Ad Personam might just recreate the Opera Unica for you.

So, if you’ve ever wanted to feel Sardinia’s charm without hopping on a plane, this Lamborghini Revuelto might be the next best thing. It’s a rolling tribute to sun, sea, and speed, blending the best of art and engineering in one unforgettable package.
