Welcome to the Brabus Big Boy 1200, a rolling mansion with 30 square metres of lavish living space and a whopping price tag of €1.3 million. Yes, Brabus has outdone itself.
Brabus has a reputation for building jaw-dropping machines, from carbon-bodied SL shooting brakes to a 930hp (694kW) Mercedes-Benz S-Class. But this? This might just be the wildest thing they've ever created. Built in partnership with Belgium’s STX Motorhomes, Brabus has taken the Mercedes Actros, a workhorse of an RV and turned it into a mobile palace.
At a colossal 12 metres long and 2.5 metres wide, the Big Boy 1200 has enough room to throw a house party. Inside, it offers 30 square metres of luxury, thanks to dual slide-outs that expand the bedroom to a spacious 4.5 metres wide.
The exterior is all Brabus, a sleek, “murdered-out” finish with the iconic Brabus roundel on the grille, and logos and decals plastered on the side and rear. You’ll know exactly what it is, and so will everyone else.
Step inside via the automatic folding staircase, and you're welcomed into pure opulence. The driver and passenger seats are trimmed in perforated leather with diamond stitching, and just above them, a 1.6-metre-wide bed folds down. The living room? Two plush leather sofas, premium carpet, and matte wood with Alcantara accents finish off the posh lounge vibe.
Then there’s the tech. Starlink satellite dish with Wi-Fi, twin 4K 42-inch TVs, a PS5, and a high-end sound system ensure entertainment on the move. And the kitchen? It’s a chef’s dream: dual sinks, an oven, a full-size fridge, a second fridge for wine, and a built-in coffee machine. Oh, and the marble-lined bathroom comes complete with a shower.
Powering this beast is a 12.8-litre six-cylinder turbodiesel pushing out 530hp (395kW) and a monumental 2,600Nm of torque, though the top speed is capped at 90km/h. It’s not about speed, it’s about presence, and the Big Boy has it in spades.
This kind of extravagance doesn’t come cheap. At €1.3 million, the Brabus Big Boy 1200 is not just an RV; it’s a statement on wheels, likely limited to a select few lucky owners.
