Toyota's in-house customization brand Modellista has landed at SEMA in Las Vegas, and it’s here with a statement, an eye-catching, post-apocalyptic-styled Land Cruiser concept that’s as futuristic as it is rugged. Meet the Modellista Overland Vision Concept, an SUV that looks straight out of a cyberpunk fantasy.
Draped in an array of off-road armor, this Land Cruiser is built to handle the toughest terrain while looking like it’s driven right out of 2077. Modellista equipped it with external body armor and brush wires for serious protection against scratches and impacts, plus a roof rack, headlight guards, and blackout details for an intimidating, ready-for-anything vibe. Alongside the armor, polygonal side carriers replace the rear windows, adding a sharp, geometric flair.
And then, there’s the lighting - a full-width LED light bar stretches across the hood, casting a futuristic glow over that bold Toyota grille. Green LED accents on the bumper provide a signature Modellista touch, alongside custom fascias and a roof-access ladder to complete the tough, cyber look.
The Overland Vision Concept isn’t just for show. Modellista aims to gauge the American market’s interest, hoping that SEMA’s response will inspire future products designed with US off-roaders in mind. If the response is as strong as anticipated, we could soon see more of these rugged, high-tech accessories for the Land Cruiser lineup stateside.
And let’s be honest, the more adventurous gear for the new Land Cruiser, the better. Bring on the future.
