Rolls-Royce has pulled out all the stops for Monterey this year, unveiling the Spectre Semaphore—a one-off special build that commands attention with its bespoke customizations and vibrant color scheme.
This eye-popping coupe, aptly named the Spectre Semaphore, dons a unique shade known as Semaphore Yellow, created exclusively for this commission. The hood features a captivating artwork called "Marble Paint Spill," inspired by Californian artists. This masterpiece combines silver lacquer and multiple layers of clear coat to mimic a swirling pool of yellow and silver paint. Crafting the hood alone took a staggering 160 hours of meticulous labor.
Continuing the yellow theme, the interior of the Spectre Semaphore is a symphony of Lemon Yellow and Citrine Yellow, illuminating the white seats, doors, and dashboard trim. The design is tied together with Lemon Yellow stitching, extending even to the center dial in the gauge cluster, ensuring every detail sings in harmony.
Underneath its dazzling exterior, the Spectre Semaphore retains the dual-motor electric drivetrain, delivering a formidable 430 kW and 900 Nm of torque straight from the factory. This setup offers up to 468 km of range, blending luxury with impressive performance.
Rolls-Royce describes the Semaphore as capturing "the bold new codes of luxury being established by the marque’s confident, youthful client base." And indeed, this unique creation reflects a bold vision for the future of bespoke automotive design.
Fancy owning this yellow marvel? Unlike many bespoke commissions, the Spectre Semaphore hasn't been pre-sold. It's available for purchase through any authorized Rolls-Royce dealer in the United States, but you'll need to act quickly—this is the only one in existence.
The one-off Spectre will make its grand debut at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering, on August 16 during Monterey Car Week. Don't miss your chance to see this extraordinary fusion of art and engineering in person.
