More Power, Precision, and Performance

The Mercedes-AMG GT63 is already a rocket ship, but it's more of a grand tourer than a full-on track machine. Enter the new GT63 Pro. This beast brings more power, improved aerodynamics, and crucially, enhanced cooling for the engine and its sophisticated all-wheel drive system.

For 2025, the Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro delivers an extra 26 horsepower and 50 Nm of torque compared to the standard model. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 now churns out a whopping 603 hp and 850 Nm, propelling it from 0-100 km/h in a blistering 3.1 seconds and from 0-200 km/h in just 10.9 seconds. That's half a second quicker than the regular GT63, according to Mercedes, with a colossal top speed of 317 km/h.

However, it’s not just about power. Aero and cooling play a pivotal role in transforming the GT63 into a track weapon, and the Pro model has plenty of both. The engine now benefits from two robust radiators mounted in the front wheel arches for increased efficiency. The differentials and transfer case each get their own radiators with water pumps to keep the AWD system performing optimally during extended track sessions.

The front fascia of the GT63 Pro has been revamped with additional air deflectors and larger intakes. There's also an active air panel in the nose that adjusts airflow based on speed and cooling requirements. Mercedes claims these changes have eradicated 30 kg of front axle lift. More advanced air deflectors and fins under the body, along with a substantial fixed rear wing, add 15 kg of rear axle downforce.

Standard on the Pro are carbon-ceramic brakes, featuring 420 mm discs and six-piston calipers, the largest ceramic set AMG currently offers. The discs' backs are made from titanium, reducing unsprung mass—a necessity for this car. Lightweight 21-inch forged wheels come shod in Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires, with ultra-grippy Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Rs available as a no-cost option.

AMG’s innovative hydraulically linked suspension is standard on the Pro, along with rear-wheel steering, AMG Performance bucket seats, and a generous sprinkling of carbon fiber inside and out. Likely, the only optional extra will be the paint, should you fancy a vibrant hue.

The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro is set to make its grand entrance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend, with deliveries anticipated next year. While Mercedes remains tight-lipped on pricing, expect it to command a premium over the base model.
