Only 9 will be built and they looked incredible

Rimac Automobili is celebrating its 15th birthday with a special limited edition of the Nevera hypercar. Introducing the Rimac Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition. Despite the unremarkable name, it’s remarkable how Mate Rimac has built his automotive empire since 2009.

He began by converting an E30 BMW 3 Series into an EV, setting world records by 2011. The Concept_One debuted in the same year, with the first customer car delivered in 2016. The C_Two was revealed in 2018, eventually evolving into the 1,888bhp Nevera. Meanwhile, Rimac expanded by taking over Bugatti, creating Bugatti Rimac, and establishing Rimac Technology and Rimac Energy under the Rimac Group umbrella. Does Mate Rimac ever sleep?

Today, Rimac boasts over 2,200 employees across four European countries, with a massive Rimac Campus HQ and factory under construction near Zagreb. The Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition celebrates these achievements. Only nine will be built, each featuring dual-color alloy wheels, special badging, and a circuit board-style racing stripe. Inside, they’ll have copper switchgear with more badging and unique script. This edition also marks the first time Rimac has finished a Nevera in a matte color, with a striking two-tone design featuring bare carbon fiber.

Each special edition will cost €2.35m and include bespoke fitted luggage matching the car's interior. A few units are still available if you're interested. The car will debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, with the first customer car tackling the hill climb. Handle that fancy paint with care.

Reflecting on the journey, Mate Rimac said, “When I started tinkering with my first car in a garage, I couldn’t have dreamt of being where we are 15 years later. There were countless times we thought the company wouldn’t make it, so reaching this milestone deserved a celebration. The 15th Anniversary Edition Nevera marks our progress, showing how far we’ve come—from a garage to global; from struggling to keep the lights on to a €2bn valuation; from a converted BMW 3 Series to the world’s fastest accelerating production car, and from a hypercar maker to a Tier 1 EV tech supplier and energy storage pioneer. All in a country where this once sounded like science fiction.”
