No surprise its more expensive

Porsche only displayed the base model with rear-and all-wheel drive alongside the sporty Turbo E-Hybrid at the third-generation Panamera's introduction in November of last year. Zuffenhausen is now adding two more electrified cars to the range in an effort to broaden it. These stick with a V6 instead of the large V8, but they do not use the term "turbo"; instead, they have two turbochargers.

A 2.9-liter engine and an electric motor work together to provide 463 horsepower and 650 Nm torque of system output in the Panamera 4E Hybrid. The new model has reduced 50 Nm but added eight powerful horses over the previous model. This sedan (actually a hatchback) is incredibly fast despite its size, taking just 3.9 seconds to reach 100 kph—0.3 seconds faster than the vehicle it replaces. At full speed, it can reach the same 280 kph.

With its current 536 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid represents a 16-horsepower drop for Porsche. It drops 5 mph and finishes the sprint in 3.5 seconds, the same time as previously, reaching 290 kph.

The improved battery pack, which has been increased in capacity by 45 percent to 25.9 kWh without requiring any physical size increase, powers all electrified Panamera models. A more powerful e-motor, rated at 187 horsepower and 450 Nm, is housed within the automatic transmission and is powered by the battery. We know that the European models—the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid can go up to 96 kilometers (60 miles) on electricity, while the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid can go up to 92 kilometers (57 miles) on electricity. The WLTP values for the EPA-certified range are probably going to go down.
