Clocking in with a top speed of 300 km/h, this isn’t just a brick on wheels; it's a masterpiece of performance and audacity. The 'Sir Class' is HOF’s inaugural project a brand spun off from Hofele, the seasoned German outfit known for years of fine-tuning Mercs. Behind the scenes, you’ve got Ferdinand Peter at the helm, flanked by ex-AMG chief Philip Schiemer.
Under the hood lies a 4.0-litre biturbo AMG V8 that’s been radically reengineered. We're talking forged aluminium pistons, beefier connecting rods, enhanced turbos with bespoke compressor geometry, and an aluminium airbox for a sonically richer intake note. It’s got a reinforced gearbox and a custom fuel pump, all rounded off by a "special" software update one can only hope there’s a ‘Hammer Time’ mode hidden within.
Those headline figures are immense: 1,048bhp, a whopping 1,300Nm of torque, and that 300 km/h top end. For perspective, the AMG One hypercar boasts 1,049bhp. Compare that to your regular, off-the-shelf G63, which peaks at around 241 km/h, and the ‘Sir Class’ becomes a beast in a league of its own.
Stopping power is supplied by massive carbon ceramic brakes, while the exterior and interior are infused with Formula One touches. You get bespoke paintwork, a carbon body kit, forged wheels, a carbon-fibre bonnet, coilovers, and an F1-style steering wheel. The cabin features sports seats, a lush mix of Alcantara and leather, and the pièce de résistance: HOF’s ‘Starry Sky Ceiling’ a galaxy-inspired light show inside.
“The timing of its creation was no accident,” says HOF. “This car debuts as we close an era, aligning perfectly with Sir Lewis Hamilton's final season with Mercedes in 2024. As the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concludes his extraordinary journey, the ‘Sir Class’ embodies a career that’s redefined expectations and crowned him the greatest Formula 1 driver in history.”
