The 400th Chiron is a Super Sport spec.

With the Chiron hypercar, Bugatti is making gradual but steady progress in its production schedule. The 400th model has recently been put together by the French business at its Molsheim headquarters after a two-month production process. Around 1,800 different components were put together by a group of 20 highly talented mechanics and craftspeople to create the brand-new Chiron Super Sport that is currently being delivered to its new owner.

The 400th Chiron doesn't change this premise that no Chiron is the same as any other. The customer selected a dark green coating for the supercar's naked carbon fiber body. The weave of the fiber, for instance, must flow in the right direction throughout the entire car and over all the surfaces, according to Bugatti, who claims that developing this distinctive finish requires a lot of "patience and precise attention to detail." Each panel needs to be cut specifically for this.

According to Bugatti, the Chiron Super Sport's lightweight, incredibly sturdy magnesium wheels go well with the green color. While some of the exterior components have Fierce accents, the engine cover is painted in a slightly different but still extremely faint Nocturne color.

Beluga Black dominates the cabin's interior, which is similarly stylish and features a stunning black and green full leather upholstery. Black interior trim elements and bare pieces of carbon fiber, including the steering wheel, add an elegant touch that perfectly fits the hue of the leather.

Under the hood, nothing has changed. With 1,600 horsepower (1,176 kilowatts), Bugatti's 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine drives the Chiron Super Sport in this situation. The engine's output is 100 hp more than the initial Chiron from 2016 thanks to a larger quarter of turbochargers and a higher maximum engine speed of 7,100 rpm. With the help of the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and this powerful engine, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 186 miles per hour (or 0 to 300 kilometers per hour) in just 12.1 seconds. There is a 273 mph top speed (440 kph).

Just 100 Chirons remain to be built by Bugatti until the supercar is phased out once the 400th Chiron is produced. The Mistral roadster and the track-only Bolide will continue to run on the W16 engine.
