its the tuners first car with 1000hp

It's finally done by Brabus. With the launch of the Rocket 1000 "1 of 25," a limited edition and surprisingly wide take on the hybridized AMG GT 63 S E Performance, the 1,000 horsepower threshold has been crossed for the first time on a production vehicle.

However, when we translate that number into horsepower, we find that the Rocket 1000 is only actually driving 986 horsepower to each of its four wheels. Oh no, Brabus, it's back to the drawing board for you.

The 201 horsepower electric motor and 6.1 kWh battery of the E Performance have been left alone by Brabus, thus the twin-turbo V8's modifications account for all of the car's additional power over the base 831 horsepower.

First off, the engine is upgraded from 4.0 to 4.5 liters, and we are informed that new high-performance turbochargers, new pistons, a new stainless steel exhaust system, and a new bespoke crankshaft are all included.

In order to safeguard the powertrain, Brabus was forced to restrict the torque to 1050 Nm. There is also a completely new ECU. If that was allowed to continue unchecked, 1820 Nm would result. Jeepers. Apparently, the current peak speed is restricted to 315 kph, and the 0-100 kph time is 2.6 seconds.

As the name implies, just 25 of the modified Mercedes-Benz vehicles will be produced, and each one will come equipped with the massive carbon fiber widebody that increases the GT 4dr's width by 6.7 cm. Along with loads of carbon and quilted leather on the interior, they will also have improved suspension that allows the ride height to be lowered by up to 20 mm from normal.
