Formula 1 bosses have announced that a new exhibition of the sport is set to open in Madrid on 24 March 2023. Described as ‘the world’s first official Formula 1 Exhibition’, we’re told that it’ll feature ‘never-before-seen artefacts and contributions from the sport’s most legendary teams, experts and personalities’.
Those artefacts will include rare film and imagery, engineering displays, sculptural pieces and of course actual Grand Prix cars.
The exhibition will take place at IFEMA Madrid and will feature six purpose-built rooms, each of which will be ‘specially designed in collaboration with award-winning artists, filmmakers and craftspeople’.
It’ll run until 16 July 2023, and tickets will apparently go on sale on 1 December this year.

“Launching this world-class international exhibition allows more fans around the world to fall in love with F1, while providing the perfect platform for us to honour the sport’s incredible history. I want to thank everyone who has contributed to this project and helped to build an exhibition that captures the heart and soul of the sport we all love.”
