It's the lightest 992-generation trim, and buyers can pair it with a matching Porsche Design watch.

Using components from the GT3 Touring and GT3 RS, the 2024 Porsche 911 S/T makes its debut as a lightweight, road-focused variant that pays homage to the original 911 S from 1969. Porsche is only producing 1,963 models. Deliveries will commence in the spring of 2024, and the public premiere will take place at the seventh Rennsport Reunion, which starts on September 28.

The 911 S/T has the lightest weight of any 911 from the 992 generation at 1390 Kilograms. It weighs 30kg less than a 911 GT3 Touring with a manual transmission.

The Porsche's hood, front fenders, doors, roof, rear axle anti-roll bar, and stiffening shear panel are all made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The wheels are made of magnesium and are 20 inches in the front and 21 inches in the back. Brakes made with ceramic composite are the norm. This automobile does not have rear-axle steering. Lithium-ion batteries are used as starting batteries. Additionally, there is less soundproofing than previous 911 variations and lightweight glass.

The GT3 RS's 4.0-liter flat-six engine, which has 518 horsepower, provides the power. The only transmission is a six-speed manual with a tight ratio. The spinning mass is reduced by 10kg thanks to a special lightweight clutch and single-mass flywheel installed by Porsche. According to the manufacturer, the automobile "now builds revs with especially bracing speed and directness."

The 911 S/T accelerates at 100 kph in 3.5 seconds as opposed to 3.2 seconds for a GT3 RS. It can go as fast as 300 kph.

Porsche maintains a smooth-looking body. Similar to the 911 GT3 with the Touring Package, the nose has vents. The business equips the active rear spoiler with a little Gurney flap.

Either four-way adjustable Sports Seats Plus or carbon fiber reinforced plastic bucket seats are available for the 911 S/T's interior. Classic Cognac fabric with black pinstripes or two-tone semi-aniline leather in a combination of Black and Classic Cognac are also options for the upholstery. Green highlights may be seen on the instrument cluster and clock of the Chrono package.

A Heritage Design Package is an add-on for the 911 S/T. It has a body finished in Shore Blue Metallic and Ceramica wheels in white. The roundels on each door can have any number between 0 and 99 specified by the buyer. On the nose, wheel center caps, steering wheel, and headrests are insignia in the traditional Porsche style.

Customers of the 911 S/T have the option to purchase the limited-edition Porsche Design Chronograph 1 - 911 S/T watch to go with their vehicle. For the running second's hand and stopwatch functionality, it contains three subdials. Between the 1 and 2 o'clock markers is a representation of a six-speed manual. Day and date displays are also available. The watch's casing is made of titanium, and it includes wheels-inspired winding rotors. The dial's green highlights mirror those on the instrument panel of the car. There are just 1,963 available of the R260 000 watch.

If you prefer a different clock, Porsche Design also created the Chronograph 1 - 75 Years Porsche Edition, which is only available in 475 pieces and costs R200 000.

Contrary to popular belief, Porsche marketed the 1969 911 S model while internally utilizing the 911 ST moniker. It was an engine-tweaked performance-oriented vehicle. the wheels and chassis.
