Attending the AMG GT Live Sneak Preview in Affalterbach will set you back R9200

Mercedes has devised a cunning technique to generate extra revenue by inviting individuals to view a future model before its public appearance. The second-generation AMG GT Coupe will be on display during an event known as the AMG GT Live Sneak Preview that will take place in Affalterbach the following month. The first three days are already completely booked, but it will be conducted every day from July 10 to July 13.

The full-day excursion to the home of AMG allows visitors the chance to drive the SL63, C63 S E Performance, and EQE 53 in addition to seeing the new GT Coupe in person. Participants will receive breakfast in the AMG Private Lounge when they arrive, followed by a required safety briefing. After that, a product expert will fill you in on all there is to know about the new Porsche 911 rival after giving you a tour of the facility where magic is created.

According to Mercedes, you must be 21 years old and a member of the AMG Private Lounge Community in order to participate in the event. Naturally, a valid driver's license is also required in order to operate one of those AMGs. The event will be held in both German and English and will include groups of no more than 24 persons. Participants will receive photos taken by a professional photographer after the event. It costs R9200 at the current currency rate, to participate.

The 2024 AMG GT Coupe hasn't been made public yet, but because the private launch is scheduled for a few weeks from now, the public introduction is probably not far off. It stands to reason that participants in the AMG GT Live Sneak Preview will have their devices confiscated to prevent them from ruining the momentous premiere. However, we've seen more than our fair share of hazy photos that people discreetly took during these events posted on social media, so don't be shocked if someone manages to sneak in a phone.
